Atopic Dermatitis

Atopic Dermatitis (eczema) is a chronic inflammatory skin condition caused by an overactive immune system and a weakened skin barrier. It commonly causes dry, itchy, inflamed skin that can become cracked, painful, and prone to infection. For many people, symptoms occur in cycles of flare-ups and periods of improvement and can significantly impact sleep, daily activities, work, and overall quality of life.

While there is currently no cure for atopic dermatitis, treatment may help control symptoms and reduce flare-ups. Learn more about a clinical trial evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for adults with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. 

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 18 and 80 years of age and be willing to participate in medical photography
• Have a diagnosis of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis affecting at least 10% of your body surface area for at least 1 year
• Have symptoms that are not adequately controlled with topical treatments or for whom topical treatments are not advisable
