Dr. Cory Maughan is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Science from Utah State University in Logan, UT, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University – AZCOM in Glendale, AZ. Dr. Maughan completed his surgical internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, OR, followed by a Clinical Research Fellowship at Silver Falls Dermatology in Salem, OR. He further honed his skills during his dermatology residency with Samaritan Health Services in Salem, OR, and completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology with Samaritan Health Services and Silver Falls Dermatology.
As a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), Dr. Maughan has been actively involved in education and research, contributing to numerous publications in major dermatology journals and textbook chapters. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Maughan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is passionate about alpine skiing, mountain biking, and embracing the great outdoors.
