Nathan Smith is a highly trained dermatology physician assistant with 18 years of combined clinical experience. He has worked in dermatology for the last 14 years and prior to that worked in family medicine. Nate graduated Cum Laude from Pacific Lutheran University with a double major in Biology and Psychology. He received his graduate medical training at Pacific University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2003. Nate was honored for outstanding achievement in dermatology in 2017, being awarded Portland Top Doctors in Portland Monthly. He specializes in all aspects of general dermatology.

Nate makes every effort to provide a comfortable experience for his patients. He enjoys getting to know his patients and strives to build trusting relationships while providing quality dermatologic care. In his spare time, he enjoys family life with his wife, two young children, and golden retriever. They love to take camping adventures in their Eurovan. He enjoys traveling, hiking, trail running, crossfit, and mountain biking.

Nate is a member of Oregon Dermatology Society, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Oregon Medical Association, and Oregon Society of Dermatology Associates.
