Penny Ng, APRN, DNP, NP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in aesthetic and medical dermatology. Born and raised in San Francisco, she is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their skin through thoughtful, personalized care and natural-looking results. Her clinical interests include aesthetic treatments such as Botox, facial balancing, and biostimulatory procedures, as well as acne, acne scarring, and caring for patients with skin of color. Penny earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento, and completed the Nurse Residency Program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she worked as an ICU nurse. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Aspen University. She gained dermatology experience as a registered nurse in Stanford Health Care’s Dermatology Department before practicing as a nurse practitioner in several Bay Area clinics across Marin, San Francisco, the Central Valley, and the Peninsula. She also founded the Peninsula Dermatology Journal Club to bring local providers together to discuss new research and advance evidence-based patient care. Penny is excited to be joining the team at ClearChoice Dermatology, where she looks forward to continuing to provide high-quality dermatologic and aesthetic care while building lasting relationships with her patients. Outside of work, Penny enjoys collecting exotic plants and volunteering with animal welfare organizations.
