Rae Simmons, ARNP, FNP-C, is a compassionate and highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner with specialized training in dermatology. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa and brings more than five years of diverse nursing experience to Clear Choice Dermatology.
Rae began her healthcare career as a registered nurse, serving in progressive care, cardiac, trauma, and medical-surgical units across the country. Her background has shaped her strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and patient-centered approach to care. She has extensive experience managing complex medical conditions, performing advanced assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
Most recently, Rae practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner providing laser-based treatments and aesthetic care, where she developed expertise in performing procedures safely across diverse skin tones while delivering thorough patient education. She is passionate about skin health and is committed to helping patients feel confident and informed throughout their treatment journey.
Rae combines evidence-based practice with clear communication and a warm, approachable style. She strives to build lasting relationships with her patients while delivering comprehensive dermatologic care tailored to each individual’s needs.Outside of work, Rae enjoys continuing her professional education and staying active in the community.
