Dr. Metterle was born and raised in Clearwater, FL, although she spent her more formative years in middle school and high school in Northeast Ohio. She went to The Ohio State University for her undergraduate education and attended medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her dermatology residency training at the University of South Florida and a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at the University of California San Diego/Rady Children's Hospital. Dr. Metterle is steadfast in her commitment to provide ethical and compassionate dermatologic care to all of her patients. Her area of expertise is in general and pediatric dermatology. She is double Board-Certified in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member of the Society of Pediatric Dermatology.
